An extremely patient wife and a very loving mother, Mama Nene, as she was commonly known to almost everyone in Cantaoan, Naga, Cebu succumbed to cancer. She was very instrumental in encouraging all her children to work hard, both in school and in life, in order to reach higher goals. Despite the obstacles of adversity and poverty, she managed to send her children to school.
In her family, she will always be remembered as the shinning light that paved the way for everyone to follow. For sure, she is very happy now in heaven watching all her children doing well here on earth.
She is survived by husband Nemecio Alforque, and children Rudy, Edring, Linda, Bebeng, Daling and Teddy and other family members and relatives.
